When Does Sun Community News Announce Grants

Supporting local communities through journalism and charitable endeavours has long been a tradition of Sun Community News. One of the many ways the organisation shows its dedication to the individuals it serves is through the community grant program. Some of the ways that local organisations can get financing to improve the health of people in the North Country are controlling diabetes, reducing hunger, and fostering mental health. The Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital will receive $48,000 in grant funding and highlighted grants available to strengthen community health.

The sun community news along with the University of Vermont Health Network – Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (CVPH) is making some efforts for humanity with the announcement of community grants. Local groups are encouraged to seize this chance to obtain funds for initiatives that will benefit the area for many years to come.

Timeline for Funding: Remember 18th May as The Last Day To Apply for Grant

• Opening of Applications: Monday, April 14th
• The deadline to apply is Sunday, May 18 at 11:59 p.m.
• Funding Decisions Notification: by June 6th
• Payment of Funds: by June 30th

Deadline: May 18, 11:59 pm, Sunday, will be the deadline to apply for the grant. The Foundation of CVPH is accepting applications for their Community Grants program with the sun communities news network. Organisations who are interested can apply online and obtain additional information. By June 6, funding decisions will be made, and by June 30, funds will be disbursed.

Including Criteria

The 2022–2024 Community Health Assessment’s definition of community health needs should be included in grant applications.
