While confronting Cabrera in front of the federal court, father of Langhorn, Keith Langhorn said;

He made a promise to his wife over her deathbed, the mother of the victim Kayson Lanhorn, an 8 years old boy, when his mother passed away. 

“I gave her my word that I was going to take care of her son before she passed away. And you took that from me,” Langhorn said in Superior Court in Waterbury Thursday as he looked directly at Justin Cabrera. “I’m not mad at you, I’m not angry at you and I wish you well but I want to look at your face and I want to tell you: You destroyed me.”

When an unidentified male approached the child, she was outside in her home’s front yard. After he got out of his car and opened the trunk, the child ran inside her house and informed her parents, who then phoned the police. According to the authorities, the child was unharmed.

Rosa was arrested at his residence on Rosengarten Drive. The officers recognised the car as a 2019 Honda Pilot driven by him, the police revealed.

Living on the same street as Sullivan’s infamous “house of horrors,” 39-year-old Marvin McCullough told the outlet that the accused and her family were largely private. However, he did observe the stepmother, her late husband, her two daughters, and their friends—never her stepson.
